OneSpace is made by OneSpace App, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("OneSpace", "we"). These terms are the agreement between you and OneSpace for the OneSpace desktop application, its cloud sync, its AI assistant, and our website (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is part of this agreement.
You need an account to use OneSpace. You may sign in with an email address and password, or with a Google or Microsoft account. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your sign-in details private, and to tell us promptly at support@onespace-app.com if you think someone else has used your account. An account is for one person; sharing an account is not allowed.
You must be at least 13 to use OneSpace, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a plan or credits. If you use OneSpace on behalf of a business or firm, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms.
OneSpace runs on your computer. Your work is stored there and, when sync is on, also in your private cloud library so it follows your account to other computers. You can turn sync off for a device or keep any individual space on one computer only, as described in the Privacy Policy. We improve OneSpace continually, which means features can change, be added, or be retired. We'll give reasonable notice of changes that meaningfully reduce what a paid plan includes.
Some features may be labeled beta, preview, or experimental. Those are offered as-is and may change or stop without notice.
Some parts of OneSpace — including AI assistant usage beyond the free allowance — require a paid plan or usage credits. Prices, what each plan includes, and renewal terms are shown when you buy. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don't store your card details.
The assistant generates responses using a third-party AI provider. Its output can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, and it can misread a document. Nothing it produces is legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice, and using OneSpace does not create a professional relationship with us. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you rely on, file, or send to someone else.
To keep the service fast and fair, assistant usage is subject to limits (for example, a daily number of messages) that depend on your plan. We may adjust limits, and we may pause assistant access for accounts that generate abusive or automated traffic.
Everything you bring into OneSpace — documents, drafts, highlights, notes, and messages to the assistant — is yours. You give us only the limited permission we need to run the service for you: to store and sync your content, to display it in the app, and to send the relevant parts to our AI provider when you ask the assistant a question. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we don't claim any ownership of it.
You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload, and for meeting any confidentiality, privilege, or professional obligations that apply to your work. If you handle client material, consider which spaces should sync and which should stay on one computer.
You agree not to:
You can stop using OneSpace at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@onespace-app.com. We'll delete your cloud library as described in the Privacy Policy — export anything you want to keep first.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, hasn't paid for a plan it's using, or poses a risk to the service or other users. Where reasonable, we'll tell you what happened and how to resolve it. If we end your account for a reason other than your breach, we'll refund any prepaid period you haven't used.
OneSpace grants you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on computers you control, for as long as you have an account in good standing. The software, its design, and its name are OneSpace's property. OneSpace includes third-party components used under their own licenses.
OneSpace relies on services from other companies — for example, Google and Microsoft for sign-in, Google Cloud for your cloud library, and an AI provider for the assistant. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and an outage on their side may affect features that depend on them.
OneSpace is provided as-is and as-available. To the extent the law allows, we don't make warranties about accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Some places don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the extent the law allows, OneSpace isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost data, or the consequences of relying on assistant output — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to OneSpace is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in this section limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for fraud or gross negligence.
If someone brings a claim against OneSpace because of content you brought into the service or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages that result.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If we have a disagreement, we'd like to hear from you first at support@onespace-app.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Otherwise, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us agree to their jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you keep any rights to bring claims in your local courts that your local law gives you.
If we change these terms, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date, and highlight meaningful changes in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use OneSpace after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel and stop using the service.
